So here's more pictures of it! Fourth Gen Ws-6s

It's badass, that's why it's awesome. My college has a gutted one on display.
It is straight-piped with an SLP Loudmouth exhaust, and it is capable of 11 seconds on the quarter mile.

If the ram air hoods werent so ugly i would like them better

Looks are completely opinion based, but I did finds its driving dynamics to be a little

Oh man! Awesome, happen to know the weight?

Simple is best.

Function > Form. IT RAMS THE AIR INTO THE MOTOR

I prefer the smoother lines of the Formula, myself:

As do I. Formula Ws6s and Firehawks in the next post :)

Looked good till I saw those pop ups..

Sorry, this is pre-LED era. Only badass muscle cars here.

You were driving the wrong one.
![]() 01/05/2014 at 15:14 |

There's plenty of badass muscle cars that don't have ugly pop ups

I'm not exactly sure how much, the whole interior is gutted, running gear redone with racing parts. According to this video before it got resprayed, it weighs 2900 lbs.

Too damn good. Thanks for the vid.

They tried it on the 1998 Firehawk and it looked like garbage. Popups is the way to go :)

Nothing against pop ups, just not on this bad boy

More info on this car if you got it!

This is the racing team that campaigned it

While it may not have been as good as that one, it was cam'd and had some nice exhaust work done. Looked like this ….
![]() 01/05/2014 at 15:57 |

Yes it does good at that but they could have made it look better IMO
![]() 01/05/2014 at 16:02 |

Well the 1993-1997 style (bridge pic) is pretty subtle and still functional. The 98-02 is just in your face.

They're certainly not bad looking cars. However, I think they're overstyled—too busy for my tastes. There are some good angles and there are some awkward angles. I think the first pic is a good angle for this car, but the rear is very awkward.

Yes i am more of a fan of the earlier models.

I'm not sure of one of the best in the history of foreverness, but they do look really awesome. its to bad the interiors have horrible build quality, and the engine is partly under the dash.
![]() 01/05/2014 at 20:06 |

Don't be touching my dash pad!
![]() 01/05/2014 at 20:09 |

I can't help it, the entire dash fell into my lap from the massive LS1 torx
![]() 01/05/2014 at 20:12 |

LT1 torx for me
![]() 01/05/2014 at 20:19 |
|
I almost LT1'd once
I had a shot at buying my friends 96 impala SS that needed a little motor work. Wasn't running right after a track day. I would have bought it, except he couldn't get it to my house, because it decided not to start, so that put a damper on things
It had a H/C/I LT1 with Tri Y headers into a 3" exhaust, built trans with 3500 stall, 3.73 gears, full hotchkis suspension and a crap load more. It ran consistent 12.8's on slicks. It was an awesome car and I think it would have made a good pair with mine.

I'm with you man...but the interior was a deal breaker for me. I really loved the exterior tho.

Wow. I would have definitely picked that up!
